Dear Brethren,

The sand, it seems, pours faster through the glass now than I remember.  I once had a wall plaque that humorously said, "The hurrier I go; the behinder I get."  I must content myself with plodding, but I can plod about as well as anyone I know.

Juanita and I had wanted to see all of our supporters this Fall, but we were unable to reach everyone.  In fact, we missed several...mostly in Texas and Oklahoma...a few in Indiana and Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Maryland, one in Florida, one in Arkansas, and three in Tennessee.  We look forward to seeing all of you as quickly as we can following our Winter-Spring mission to India.  Please accept our apologies...know how much we love you...and how we long to see each one of you.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.

It is with joy that we present the measurable results of the past two years' (for comparative purposes) work in India of the combined efforts of many of God's people.  Some have prayed, others offered various forms of encouragement such as emails, cards, and telephone calls.  Some gave the widow's mite for souls, while others were blessed to give large sums.  A few, including Juanita and myself, along with our other very hard working American teammates—co-workers with God—traveled to India, where along with our 23,000 native preachers (not to mention all the other faithful church members)  there, we preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.  Consider the facts.  You helped compile the record.  Please join us in a season of thanksgiving and praise to God since it is to His glory that all this has been accomplished.

Biblical experience provides a guide for our answer.

Acts 2: 41  So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls.

Acts 6: 7  And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Acts 12: 24  The Word of God grew and multiplied.

Acts 19: 5,7  On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus....There were about twelve of them in all.

Did all these souls remain faithful?

I John 4  No greater joy can I have than this, to hear that my children follow the truth.

John 10:3-4  The sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.  When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice.

Revelation  20: 12, 15     And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne and books were opened....If anyone's name was not found written in the book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

It is to be hoped that 2011 will see, the Lord willing, a great improvement of our results.  Brethren, why should we only reap hundreds or even thousands of souls for the Lord?  Are the white fields not His?  Then let us reap it all for His glory.  Millions still do not know Jesus Christ.  We must not rest until every "tribe, and tongue and people and nation" (Rev. 5:9) have heard the gospel at least once before you, or I,  here it twice.

"Give me souls or I die."—John "Praying" Hyde

"What shall I do now?  Until my last breath I hope to win one more soul for God."                                                                         -- Jerris  Bullard

Between issues of our newsletter (which may be 3 or 4 months apart) please be sure to check our Website for updated information.  New information about the needs of our work, current statistics, and the Bullards will be among items kept up to date monthly.

We wish to thank you for your gifts which have always been so generous and more than adequate to do the task before us.  We equally appreciate your prayers and love.  Our plans have us returning to India –departing on February 9, 2011.  Please keep us in your prayers.  We would guess the weather will be warm when we return.

Grace and Peace
